Attorney Lee Mercado is a mother of two children with years of experience as a foster parent. Therefore she understands the unique issues and difficulties children face during the breakup of the family.

Also, Attorney Lee Mercado’s experience began as a criminal defense attorney where she quickly learned the art of negotiation. She has personally tried over 120 jury trials as well as bench trials and hearings before judges, magistrates, and hearing officers in both criminal and family law courts.

Because of her vast experience in negotiation and litigation, she can smoothly navigate her clients to settlement agreements while providing guidance about the process.
Attorney Lee Mercado is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, meaning she has successfully completed a rigorous 40-hour course required by the Florida Supreme Court in order to bear its certification.
